Here’s the irony: Ascender designed the original Droid font family — which say what you want, was at least original. Ascender was acquired by Monotype (which owns the rights to Helvetica). Monotype tends to do most of the on-screen font work for Microsoft (via their former Ascender relationship) and Amazon and on prior Samsung...
