Look at that trend-line. Now, obviously, Newsblur was able to make enough to sustain itself thanks to the Google Reader surge, but look at how quickly revenue returned to pre-shutdown rates.
It makes me curious about the number of people who simply stopped using any newsreader after Google Reader disappeared.
Take a look at this graph. It shows NewsBlur’s income versus its expenses for the past 16 months. Just look at those few months before the Google Reader shutdown announcement in March 2013.
